1The Sommlending forest surrounds you, its vibrant green exuding a ghastly feeling in your stomach. An uncomfortable ailment has afflicted you ever since you entered these lands where life seems to spontaneously grow, a feeling that can only be described as feeling ill. The essence of life that surrounds you makes you feel sick to the stomach, something that you wish to be rid of as soon as possible. A quick foray into the enemy camp is all that is left, after that you will soon find yourself back in the welcoming lands over the mountains, back in the city of your birth, back in the darkness of Helgedad. It will be a long journey, of that you are sure, but anything would be better than this disgusting vivid forest that you find around you. You tell yourself that you will destroy it as soon as possible, but that still does not seem to help you stomach the upset contents of your breakfast any better. You are hidden in the undergrowth, watching young Kai skipping here and there on various tasks. You cannot determine who is in charge of these young green-clad initiates, but you assume they are somewhere among the buildings as well. You bide your time, and soon, all is quiet, as all the Kai seem to have disappeared into the indoors to complete daily chores. It is at this moment you decide that you must act. There are five buildings in all. In this small Kai monastery offshoot, there seems to be no thought of protection, for no walls separate you from these buildings. For you, it seems it is a mere matter of searching through these until you find the sword, or death. You are very aware that you are now venturing into an enemy stronghold, on your own, without any one else to aid you. If you should run into any strong resistance, it is a very likely event that you will die. If you choose the central building, turn to 21. If you choose the southernmost building, turn to 35. If you choose the west building, turn to 11. If you choose the east building, turn to 47 If you choose the North building, turn to 15. |
