The Kirlundin Marine slumps to the deck, losing the battle. Turning swiftly on your heel you manage to parry a stray swing as you shoulder your way through the heaving bodies. You bellow through the mass of warriors only to find yourself facing off with two enemy sailors. Not as well prepared for the vigors of combat as their Marine counterparts, these two nevertheless draw their weapons and stand their ground. After only a few seconds you realize that they are not holding mere melee weapons, but crossbows aimed at your head! You dive as they release their quarrels toward you. You must pick a number from the Random Number Table. If you possess the skill of Basic Instinct you may add 3 to the number you have chosen.
