A hoof smashes against your arm, sending you sprawling against the barn wall, as another gashes through your leg. You lose 4 Endurance Points. With anger you pull on their heads, very aware that unless you act quickly you will die. With one swift movement you pull yourself astride one of their backs, and it comes to attention promptly. The others suddenly lose all interest in you, and become calm. With a sigh of relief, you feel very grateful these horse are well trained to obey who ever rides them, otherwise you might have soon found yourself a bloody pulp on the barn floor.

You are just dismounting when a sudden pain strikes your leg. Looking down you see you have been bitten by a particularly venomous viper. With one swift movement you strike the snake in half, but it is already too late. You can feel the poison working its way through your system, a poison that seems to burn your veins like fire.
