Concentrating your powers on the horses, you have these magnificent mounts calmed in no time. It seems strange that they would panic so, but before you can investigate what has driven them to such monumental terror you feel a pain in your leg. Looking down, you see to your horror a poisonous snake readying itself to strike once again. With one slash of your blade you slice it in half, but it has already bitten you. You can feel the poison working its way through your system. It works rapidly and already you are beginning to realize that this bite is fatal.
