You grab the Gauntlet, but as you do a sudden clicking sound and a sharp stab in your wrist warns you that not all is right. Picking up your wrist you stare at the needle sticking out of it. Your mind goes blank and you faint as the potent poison the needle released into your bloodstream races through your body. It acts too swiftly for you to do much more than close your eyes and collapse. Your life and quest come to a mercifully swift end here.
