The Memory of Haakon

47

The battle rages furiously around you, neither side gaining the upper ground as of yet. The Kirlundin Marines are some of the best sea warriors in the entirety of Magnamund, yet the Pirates are experienced and battle hardened from years of raiding enemy waters. Scouring the troops you see what seems to be the enemy captain cheering his men onwards. Perhaps if you were to take this menace out of the battle you could turn the tide in the crews favor.

Suddenly another blast of white light blinds you as yet another ray of heat slams into the side of the Bleeding Merchant. Thrown to the deck you hear a shriek of rage. Goragik, faced off with three charging Marines as well as an encroaching fire caused by the blast, is caught in what seems an almost helpless situation. With a wave of her hands and a wisp of smoke, she vanishes, teleporting somewhere beyond your senses. For now, one of your guides has vanished.

Another ray of light blasts the bow off the ship and once again you are thrown to the deck. Making your way across the shattered remains of the deck you survey your options.

If you wish to attack the Enemy Captain turn to 6.

If you wish to pull back behind the Pirates turn to 27.
