The ship rises and crashes over the wave, drenching you once more in the crescendoing storm water. Shouting to be heard over the storm, you shout to the crew to hold firm as you dive into the middle of another swell. The roaring seems to go on and on and on until suddenly...it is over.

You have somehow successfully come through the storm intact. Reld, your first mate, smiles at you with a crooked grin and says, 'You must have the Luck of Naar on your side. There is no way we could have come out of that storm alive without some sort of supernatural aid.' Looking back at him you smirk, 'Did I not tell you have faith in Naar?'

Reld nods, and then his face grows serious. He takes a necklace off his neck and hands it to you. You have received the Stone Necklace. Mark this Special Item on your action chart. 'I found this necklace in the dying hands of a necromancer as he desperately tried to toss it at me. He claimed as I tore it from him in return for his life that if ever I was in trouble to merely toss this at my foe. It would change whomever it struck into a stone edifice never to be changed back. Whether that is true or not I do not know, but it has seemed to bring me luck.' He laughs, 'With decisions such as yours, believe me when I say you need it much more than I.' Still chuckling, he turns and sees to cleaning up the ship after the storm.

It is only a few days after this event that the Lakuri Isles are sighted. It is here that you will stop to gather supplies and continue onwards.
