The Memory of Haakon

20

A side entrance to yet another chamber beyond, it is easy to pass through. You sense deep inside that this is the way that Haakon passed as well. The other exit was closed at the time of his passing, yet it was the other exit that he was trying so desperately to enter. That other exit would be fatal to any but the most pure in heart, the most devoted servants of good, and the most faithful to the cause of Kai. You praise Naar that you were wise enough not to enter that room, for without any sort of protection, you would have soon met Naar face to face.

Passing through, you come to the final chamber. Here you see the marks of a battle, which must have taken place years in the past. A crumbled pillar, scratches made by weapons, and various other marks are all that remain of the combat fought between Dark Lord Haakon and Lone Wolf long ago. In awe you realize the chamber you have happened upon. Like the other, a handprint rests beside the exit leading to the other chamber, which you are careful to avoid. Still you are drawn to the entrance like a Moth to light.

Turn to 50.
